This is not being done because we are being forced to, nor is this done in the self-congratulatory way. This is done to provide information.

We acknowledge that our (home) office is in Johnson-Butler Purchase (sometimes called the “Gunshot Treaty”) that happened in 1788 and the 1923 Williams Treaties.

The First Nations were treated badly before, during, and after the signing of the treaty (especially because of the residential schools).

The land in which the (home) office is located on is the traditional territory of the Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee), Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Wendake-Nionwentsïo, and Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We understand that this information may not be 100% accuracy but it is based on the information that we can locate and check against multiple sources. If you have updated (or more accurate) information about this, please email us.
